After attending some recent trade shows the intrepid sock specialists at RocknSocks couldn't help noting that a vast majority of sock companies and large department / retail stores import their socks and apparel from China and other overseas manufacturers. A recent report from ABC News found that it's a stark example of a stunning fact: Some 98 percent of the clothing purchased in the United States is imported from abroad. Just two percent of clothing bought in this country is manufactured on U.S. soil. Furthermore, socks and hosiery made in the USA make up less than 1% of the total bought in this country. RocknSocks wants to send a huge thanks out to JamCruise and Cloud 9 for bringing it BIG TIME on JamCruise 10. We are grateful to work with the merch team to have provided custom JamCruise Knee High Socks. From all accounts they were a huge hit and one of the first items in the merch room to sell out.

We also donated three 3-packs to the Positive Legacy Silent Auction where the bundles sold for more than their retail value to generous donors participating in the auction. Positive Legacy rocked it by collecting and distributing over 10,000 pairs of shoes and almost 3000 pairs of socks to families just outside of our port stop in Labadee Haiti. What a fun and rewarding stop on the cruise where we got to watch amazing Haitian musicians and dancers perform their traditional dances for us. We all celebrated together on the beach to the music of Toubab Krewe.

We hope to continue to have the priviledge of attending JamCruise in the future and we hope to provide more fun exclusive RocknSocks for JamCruisers in the year to come.
